Komatireddy says people without land in Lagacherla were involved in attack

Hyderabad: Giving another twist to the Lagacherla incident, for which the Congress has been trying to blame the BRS and the local farmers, Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Monday claimed that 19 people, who do not own land in the village, were involved in the attack on Vikarabad Collector Prateek Jain.

Claiming that phone call data revealed 84 calls between Suresh and former MLA Patnam Narender Reddy, the Minister said law would take its own course in the incident and that the police would not be pressurized to arrest people.
Regarding Vastu changes being made at the Secretariat, the R&B Minister said the government was taking all measures to install the Telangana Thalli statue on the Secretariat premises. The statue would be unveiled on December 9 and the changes were being made for the convenience of people to witness the statue and not for vastu compliance, he claimed.
