Police in Adilabad organised a 5 km run on Friday to mark the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, with over 2,000 youngsters participating from Adilabad and neighbouring districts.
Around 1,500 participants, including youth and fitness enthusiasts, took part in a 5K run in Adilabad to commemorate Police Commemoration Day. SP Akhil Mahajan flagged off the run, praising policemen for their sacrifices in maintaining peace and security.
Ashoka One Mall, in partnership with Decathlon, hosted the IDL 5K & 10K Run on Sunday. With diverse participation, scenic routes, and spirited performances, the event promoted fitness, rewarded top runners, and reinforced community engagement through health-centric initiatives.

The Collector presented cash rewards to the four persons who came first in the run and administered a pledge to exercise the right to vote democratically.
