Irrigation officials increased pumping into Mallanna Sagar, running six pumps to divert 7,500 cusecs from Ranganayaka Sagar. The reservoir, holding 11 TMC ft against a capacity of 50 TMC ft, is expected to store 30 TMC ft this year.

Irrigation officials in Siddipet have begun pumping water into Mallanna Sagar, the largest reservoir under the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project, with the goal of storing 30 TMCft this year.
