The deceased person P Sai Reddy, a former Sarpanch of the village, accused the brothers of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of harassing him by getting the wall constrcuted in front of his home to cut off passage to his house. Sai Reddy, who served as Sarpanch of Kondareddypalli for two terms, reportedly endured months of harassment, leading to his suicide by consuming pesticide.

"While children suffer in ambulances, the Chief Minister indulges in helicopter rides and lavish meals. While students struggle for quality food, the Chief Minister is busy gathering moneybags," he said.

The BRS would come to power in next elections and enquiry would be ordered against the police officers who harassed the party cadres, he cautioned.
