The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education has postponed the Environmental Education exam from May 28 to May 29 due to the state holiday for Eid al-Adha festival.

Telangana DGP CV Anand reviewed Bakrid security arrangements with senior officials and directed strict vigilance against illegal cattle transportation and smuggling. Authorities activated inter-State check posts and checkpoints while intensifying vehicle checks and monitoring social media to maintain communal harmony.

The Kothagudem police have intensified measures against illegal cattle transportation ahead of Bakrid, setting up inter-State and inter-district check-posts with round-the-clock surveillance.

Hyderabad traffic police has requested the people to plan their travel accordingly.

The Commissioner has instructed the officers and staff to ensure that the Bakrid festival passess off in a peaceful atmosphere.
