Patna HC junks State government’s decision to raise reservation for Dalits, backward classes, tribals in govt jobs, educational institutions

The Congress has assured a Caste Census and a hike in the BC reservations “within six months of assuming power” in the State.

Kavitha also extended her support to the demands of the BC leaders. They decided to organise a nation-wide movement for BC reservations. 

People who are not covered under SC, ST and BC reservations and whose family's gross annual income is below Rs 8 lakh will be eligible for the EWS reservation.
