Justice Swarna Kanta Sharma had, on May 3, issued a notice on Sisodia’s pleas seeking replies from both the agencies -- the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
Special judge Kaveri Baweja on Monday passed the order and said both bail petitions in ED as well as in the CBI case were dismissed. A detailed order copy is awaited.
After trial, the court held Padmanabh guilty and sentenced him accordingly. The CBI cited 165 documents which stood the test of trial resulting in conviction.
The judge will continue hearing the arguments on a similar application filed by Kavitha in connection with the money laundering case filed by the Enforcement Directorate.
