Stating that 9,384 candidates were appearing for the examination in the district, Santosh underlined coordination among officials.

Collector Badavath Santosh, alongside Additional Collector (Local Bodies) B Rahul and DCP Ashok Kumar, participated in a 5K run from IB Chowk to ZP High School (Boys) to raise awareness about the importance of exercising the right to vote among electors.

Santosh said that randomisation of 1,131 presiding officers, 1,111 assistant president officers, 2,187 other presiding officers, a total of 4,429 polling staff was completed.

Collector Santosh stated that two-three teams were formed in a mandal to resolve the complaints relating to Dharani portal

Santosh asked the officials and staffers to have coordination in order to develop villages.

Collector told officials concerned to have awareness over the national calamities and mitigating measures.

The Collector further said that 743 polling centres were created in the district and rolls of electors were already handed over to political parties.

Speaking on the occasion, Santosh opined that people were diagnosed with cardiac ailments as they were not following healthy food habits and leading sedentary lifestyles.
