Former Agriculture Minister S Niranjan Reddy questioned the government's plans for Rythu Bharosa and drought relief, alleging failures in irrigation, power supply and El Nino preparedness. He claimed crop losses across 28 lakh acres and economic damage exceeding Rs 50,000 crore.

BRS MLC Dasoju Sravan demanded Rs 20,000 crore in drought relief from the Centre and a rubber dam at Kannepalli. He accused the Congress and BJP of political theatrics, questioned Amit Shah's silence and criticised the State government's response.
