If it is right for LoP to wear a T-shirt with Adani-Modi picture in Parliament, why are we not allowed to follow in his footsteps and expose Adani-Revanth affair in Telangana Assembly, asks BRS leader

"I appeal to BRS cadres to perform Palabhishekam and Panchamrita Abhishekam to cleanse statues of Telangana Thalli existing across the State on Tuesday, as reparation for the sin committed by the Congress and to seek her forgiveness. I also request the party workers and Telangana citizens to change their social media profile pictures to images of the original Telangana Thalli in solidarity," he appealed.

The BRS leaders demanded for immediate release of the arrested ASHA workers, quality treatment for the injured and also action against the police officials responsible.

Controversy began when BRS legislators arrived wearing t-shirts emblazoned with slogan 'Revanth-Adani Bhai Bhai'

Beginning from Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, Forest Minister Konda Surekha to Shadnagar MLA Veerlapally Shankar, Congress leaders have been in the news for the comments and threats they made and the language they used against BRS leaders and even against the public.

The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) is all geared up to confront the Congress government in the Assembly over its unfulfilled promises and governance failures, particularly in agriculture, tribal rights and rural development. The party will also expose the government’s shortcomings on critical issues affecting citizens of the State.

Acknowledging that the party was no longer in power, KTR emphasized that this had not diminished the leadership's steely resolve to fight for the State and its people

He pointed out that the new statue lacked several key features that were present in the original design including its crown. The crown, symbolizing the pride and self-governance of Telangana was gone. The traditional floral festival Bathukamma, which represents the cultural heritage of Telangana, was absent.

"YTPS is another indelible signature of Chandrashekhar Rao on the history of Telangana. Chandrashekhar Rao's vision and efforts behind this power plant will be remembered for a long time by the people of Telangana," he said.

Tensions escalated in Hyderabad on Thursday as Cyberabad police arrested senior BRS leaders, including MLAs T Harish Rao, G Jagadish Reddy, and Padi Kaushik Reddy, amid high drama.

The Minister also said Huzurabad MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy had “lost his mind”. “There is a mad fellow in Huzurabad. The Huzurabad MLA keeps disrupting the Assembly proceedings by clapping and shouting in the House,” Surekha said.

Criticising Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for indulging in rhetoric and mudslinging against the BRS instead of showcasing the Congress government's achievements, he said he would write to Congress Lok Sabha leader Rahul Gandhi about the Congress's promises to Telangana and the Revanth Reddy government's failure to deliver them over the last one year.

He warned Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy against making any changes in the design, which holds sentimental and historic value for the people of Telangana.

. Remembering the electoral defeat of the BRS a year ago, he called the past year as one of the hardest years for the party, replete with many setbacks and challenges.

He criticised the State government for taking credit for 55,143 jobs for which notifications were released and exams were conducted under the BRS regime

BRS NRI-UK unit founder president Anil Kurmachalam compared Chandrashekhar Rao's approach to Mahatma Gandhi's non-violent methods.

"Revanth Reddy who aimed his rifle at Telangana agitators during the Statehood movement, is not just trying to erase K Chandrashekhar Rao's legacy, but is erasing Telangana's history and pride," he said

The BRS cadre conducted two-wheeler rallies, distributed fruits, organized blood donation camps, and arranged 'annadanam' for the underprivileged. In addition, they held various charitable activities across all 33 districts of Telangana. Floral tributes were offered at the statues of Telangana Thalli at BRS party offices, and homage was paid to Telangana martyrs.
