A bus returning from the Amarnath Yatra caught fire after a tyre burst on J&K's NH-44 in Ramban. All passengers from Rajasthan were safely evacuated, and the J&K administration has arranged for their alternative travel home

The Telangana High Court has granted time to authorities to respond to a plea seeking speedy completion of the Suchitra-Kompally elevated corridor on NH-44. The petitioner cited prolonged delays, traffic congestion, safety concerns and accidents affecting commuters and residents.
