The BRS has demanded the resignation of Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, alleging his family-owned firms were involved in illegal mining and land disputes. Party leaders accused him of conflict of interest, claiming he fled Assembly sessions and allowed colleagues to respond on his behalf.

Former Minister and Suryapet MLA G Jagadish Reddy criticised the Congress government after Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy alleged his phone was being tapped by BRS leaders. Reddy termed the claim shameful and questioned how a ruling party minister could make such charges.
The officials were asked to identify flood-prone villages and develop real-time information systems in coordination with the India Meteorological Department.
