Former Minister T Harish Rao has called upon SCCL unions and workers to unite under the slogan ‘Congress Hatao, Singareni Bachao’, warning that the Congress government is pushing Singareni towards privatisation.

Singareni Collieries Company Limited rejected allegations of coal disappearance and stated that coal production and transportation are monitored through GPS, RFID, CCTV, geofencing and digital weighbridges. Officials said every stage of coal dispatch and delivery is digitally tracked and verified.
