The Chief Minister's Office said the decision to open educational institutions from July 1 was taken after considering reports submitted by the Medical and Health department officials about the Corona.
Directorate of School Education instructed the Regional Joint Directors of School Education, DEOs and DIET principals to take necessary action accordingly
Stating that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao allocated Rs 2,000 crore to improve amenities in schools, she said apart from constructing buildings and library, computer facilities will also be provided in schools.
So far, 118 students and teachers have tested positive for the coronavirus in various educational institutions in the city, Deputy Commissioner (Health) Dr Ashish Naik said.
