Telangana public realised Congress’ deceptive nature: MLC Madhusudhan
Within 11 months of coming to power the Congress government the people’s dissent against the government has become visible, said MLC Tatha Madhusudhan.
Kothagudem: Public in Telangana realised that they were deceived by Congress which made false promises to come to power, stated BRS Khammam district president, MLC Tatha Madhusudhan.
Within 11 months of coming to power the Congress government the people’s dissent against the government has become visible. Revanth Reddy government was the only government that earned a bad reputation within such a short time, he said.
Speaking to the media at Bhadrachalam in the district on Tuesday, Madhusudhan said that the public acknowledged the fact that Congress made false promises just to come to power, but not for their welfare.
Many of the six guarantees given by the party during Assembly elections have not yet been delivered. People have been questioning the government failures even before the opposition party leaders were questioning it, he said.
Not a single Congress MLA was able to visit the villages freely due to the failure of the government in delivering the promises. No section of the society was happy with the government. The people were confused whether there was a government or a Cabinet of ministers existing in the State.
The government has neglected the most important agriculture sector. There was no coordination among the ministers. One minister says that crop loan waiver would be completed by August 15 while another minister says that loan waiver would be completed by December, the MLC noted.
Only 30 to 40 percent of loans of farmers have been waived and it was being stated by farmers affiliated to Congress. During the BRS regime, former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao ensured that Rs 10, 000 Rythu Bandhu was credited into the farmer’s accounts annually even though the farmers asked for it, he explained.
The Congress leadership promised Rs 15, 000 Rythu Bharosa but failed to deliver it and the same was the case with Rs 4000 pension to the poor. The government was not able to pay the rent for Gurukuls and the building owners were locking up the buildings.
In Khammam district, even the officials were not able to function freely as they were receiving different orders from three ministers. Many of the officials were intending to take transfer to other districts as they were under pressure from the ministers, the BRS leader added.
