15 held for gambling, Rs 2.36 lakh seized in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Commissioner’s Task Force (west) team raided a house at SR Nagar and caught 15 persons who were found gambling, and seized Rs 2.36 lakh in cash and playing cards from.

Acting on a tip off, the team raided a house of KVG Kumar in Aditya Enclave in SR Nagar police station limits. “Kumar was organising the cricket betting at the flat and inviting punters to participate in the three card game. He collected commission from the participants,” said P Radha Kishan Rao, DCP Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force.

Those caught along with the property were handed over to the SR Nagar police station for further action.
