Gurpurab or Guru Nanak Jayanti was celebrated through a special assembly by the students of Pallavi Aware International School, Saroornagar. Guru Nana’s life was shown through a video and a presentation was given on his teachings.
Students conducted a quiz on various aspects of Sikhism and enlightened the audience. Also known as Guru Nanak’s Prakash Utsav, this day celebrates the birth of the first Sikh guru, Guru Nanak.

It is a day of reverence and reminder for the devotees to follow the teachings of Guru Nanak and his selfless service to people.
