In the first instance, Keerthi (30) was brutally hacked to death by her husband Maruthi in Gudihathnoor mandal centre on Thursday. She was found dead in a pool of blood. Her husband fled the spot after killing Keerthi, police said. Motive behind the murder is yet to be ascertained.
