The party allotted the Vemulawada ticket to former Karimnagar Zilla Parishad Chairperson Tula Uma, who joined the BJP from the BRS.

BJP has announced candidates for 88 seats and of them, only 20 were given to long-timers, and about 15 to leaders who joined the party about five to 10 years ago.

The BJP had announced candidates for 88 constituencies so far and the final list for the remaining constituencies will be released today. Of the 88 candidates, 32 are from Backward Classes, 13 from SC, nine from ST, one Kamma, one Brahmin, one Velama and 24 Reddys.
