The arrested person T.Shashank Reddy (24), posed as a female social media influencer and sent a friend request to the victim, who accepted it believing to be genuine.
The main accused, Mutchu Siva, and the third accused, Battagiri Ranga Parthulu were arrested, while Dhanraju was absconding. All three belonged Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh.Â
M.Stephen Raveendra directed officials to take up special drive to help the victims in getting refund of their lost money, which was seized in the fraudster’s bank accounts.
