The government is scheduled to release another Rs 800 crore by August-end, taking the total to Rs 2,000 crore.

After launching the scheme in Huzurabad recently, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao directed the officials to release a total of Rs 2,000 crore for the implementation of the pilot project.

The Minister said all the 17 lakh Dalit families in the State would be covered under the unique scheme in the next five years.
