Former BRS MLA Chanti Kranthi Kiran has accused the Congress government of ignoring farmers’ issues while shielding alleged encroachments in the Singur reservoir area. He demanded a criminal case and impartial inquiry, alleging that lands and water bodies dating back to the Nizam era were illegally occupied.
The Hare Krishna Movement–India celebrated a major milestone in the construction of its Cultural Centre at Kandi, Sangareddy, with sacred rituals including the Maha Narasimha Homa and Garbhalaya Yantra Sthapana Puja. Assuring to implement all the schemes, he said the Congress still had more than four years of its tenure left and would implement all promises under the leadership of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.
The Health Minister, who visited the injured workers who suffered burn injuries in the fire accident, asked Collector Valluru Kranthi to prepare a detailed report on the incident
Sources said that since his son was with the BRS, he might join the party soon. He was very unhappy during the assembly elections too and had threatened to leave the party.
The Minister said the reopening of Nizam Sugar Factories would put an end to the woes of the farmers who were taking their harvested sugarcane to other places from Zaheerabad area for crushing.
