The government has cut the approval time for electricity connection for electric vehicle charging stations to three days for metropolitan areas from seven days earlier and seven days in municipal areas from 15 days.
So far it has set up about 425 charging stations, both private and government, across the State since the launch of Telangana Electric Vehicle and Energy Storage Policy 2020-2030.
In the first phase, EV stations are likely to be setup at the MMTS railway stations at Lingampalli, Hitec City, Necklace Road (PVNR Marg), Sanjeeviah Park, Lakadi-ka-pul and Ghatkesar in the year 2023
