Stating that the Ayodhya Temple was built by the Trust, not by the BJP, he said he had also contributed Rs.2 lakh to the Trust.

Speaking to media persons here on Saturday, he said the BRS came into existence with secular credentials.

Congress leaders, who cheated the public with their fake assurances before assembly elections, were again trying to misguide the people by taking vows on deities, he said.

He pointed out that Revanth Reddy is intentionally avoiding mention of other electoral promises except for crop loan waiver he made during the assembly election campaign.

Though he asked former Minister T Harish Rao to be ready with his resignation, Revanth Reddy avoided responding to whether he would resign or not if he failed to complete the loan waiver by August 15.

Rao said the Election Commission did not act against Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy though he attempted to create differences between castes in the State during his speeches.

Since the State is all set to celebrate its 10th Foundation Day on June 2, Rao said it was the right time to get the promises made in the Reorganisation Act fulfilled.

Since Siddipet MLA T Harish Rao focussed on improving the results by extending support, the Siddipet constituency achieved 99.99 percent.

He dared the Chief Minister to do the same and prove that he was not trying to cheat the people for votes in the Lok Sabha elections once again.

Harish Rao said Revanth Reddy should submit his resignation to the Governor on August 15 if he failed to implement all the promises. 

The Congress government would fulfill its assurance for giving debt relief up to Rs 2 lakh to the farmers by all means by August 15, he asserted.

He asked the Chief Minister if he would quit the post if he failed to waive off the crop loans by August 15 and also wanted a written assurance about the loans waiver.

“Farmers do not have to worry about their loans. I appeal to the banks not to trouble the farmers, the State government takes the responsibility of their loans,” Revanth Reddy said while interacting with party workers.

While former Prime Minister Charan Singh had laid a foundation for ICRISAT before India Gandhi contested from Medak, the foundation for BHEL was laid in 1952.

The BRS government had brought train connectivity to Gajwel and Siddipet, created the new Medak district besides building the Collectorate and SP Office buildings.
