The owners of King's Restaurant in Mehdipatnam, under the jurisdiction of water board O&M Division-3, took a 250 mm dia sewerage pipe line connection without permission

During its 90-day sewerage special drive, the board identified insoluble waste from drainage pipelines as a key factor obstructing sewage flow. In a press release on Saturday, the water board explained that in multi-story building complexes, sewage first enters a silt chamber where solids are retained, allowing only wastewater to flow into the pipeline. This process prevents blockages and ensures smooth sewage flow.

The affected areas include RC Puram, Ashoknagar, Jyoti Nagar, Lingampally, Chandanagar, Gangaram, Madinaguda, Miyapur, Biramguda, Aminpur, Erragadda, SR Nagar, Ameerpet, KPHB Colony, Kukatpally, Moosapet and Jagadgirigutta.
