Speaking at the event, Ramanna pledged to challenge the anti-public policies of the State government. He remarked that under Rao's leadership, Telangana had made significant progress over the past 10 years, but now, under Congress governance, the state was regressing. He further accused the party of failing to fulfill many of its electoral promises.

Ramanna alleged that the government colluded with the private traders and was procuring the cotton produce. It was cheating the farmers by offering a nominal minimum support price (MSP) to the cotton.

Ramanna urged the public to hold Congress and BJP leaders accountable for neglecting farmers' issues. He noted that while the CCI falls under central jurisdiction, local MP MLA Payala Shankar is failing to address the concerns of cotton farmers in the district.

Ramanna said that people were facing severe problems, while farmers were encouraged to commit suicides under the inefficient ruling of CM Revanth Reddy

Ramanna stated that Revanth Reddy, who already cheated farmers by not completely waiving off crop loans, was writing letters to Modi claiming that the loans were waived off

The BRS district president assured that efforts to demolish the houses of the poor would not be tolerated.

In Adilabad, BRS district president Jogu Ramanna, participating in a protest, slammed the government for failing to implement the scheme to all farmers as promised at the time of polls.

The district BRS president said that Rs 15,000 crore of rupees were deposited in the accounts of farmers under the Rythu Bandhu scheme in just one year during the previous government's tenure.

Jogu Ramanna was participating in a protest burning an effigy of Reddy in protest of his remarks against the women legislators.

Addressing the media here on Saturday, Ramanna said that the government was in a miserable situation where it could not provide the same welfare schemes as implemented in the previous BRS government.

He said that the government was wasting time without implementing the promises made at the time of polls.

Unfazed by the disturbance, Rama Rao continued speaking, in between asking the trouble-makers whether Lord Ram had told his devotees to attack others.

He slammed the Chief Minister for not realising the promises made during the Assembly poll campaign. He said that the Congress was able to form the government by making false promises.
