The police halted Rama Rao's vehicle outside the ACB office, citing that his lawyer was not allowed to accompany him when he arrived in response to the ACB summons regarding the Formula-E race case.

Addressing the media at Telangana Bhavan here on Sunday, party working president KT Rama Rao charged the Congress party with failing to deliver its election promise to provide Rs.15,000 per acre under the Rythu Bharosa scheme, and instead reducing the amount to only Rs.12,000.

Reacting to the Cabinet's decision on Rythu Bharosa, Rama Rao accused the Congress of neglecting farmers by failing to implement even a single farmer-focused scheme despite numerous appeals. He described the Congress as "synonymous with fraud and deceit," comparing it to an unhelpful relative who burdens the family, and labeled Revanth Reddy a traitor to farmers.

Commenting on Revanth Reddy’s statement that the financial condition of the State was in a miserable condition and that Telangana was in a debt trap, Rama Rao said no Chief Minister should make such a statement

"If taking decisions without Cabinet approval is wrong on my part, Revanth Reddy also cancelled it without discussing in the Cabinet. If a case is filed against me, why isn't there one against Revanth Reddy?" he asked.

Earlier, senior advocate Siddhartha Dave, appearing for Rama Rao, argued that there was no evidence of any misappropriation of funds in the case

"The election for the party president will also be conducted, along with the formation of various internal committees ranging from the booth level to the State level. The party’s foundation day celebrations will be organized, and decisions regarding the teachers' and graduates' MLC elections will be made following the release of notifications," he said. He further confirmed that party chief K Chandrashekhar Rao is in good health and will make a public appearance at the right time.

"Unlike in other cases, the ED appears to be taking a more aggressive approach in this matter. I have filed a quash petition in the High Court and have full confidence in the legal process. We will make further decisions based on the outcome," he told the press on Monday.

Despite KT Rama Rao's clarifications, certain organisations and social media channels continue to put into circulation false information, prompting the BRS to take a firm stand

Pointing out that the Election Commission had not issued any notices if there was a violation of the election code, he wanted to know from the leaders in the Congress government on what basis they ventured to question him on behalf of the Election Commission
