Executive Officer Sankatala Srinivas reported that 10,000 to 15,000 devotees from various parts of the district and neighboring districts—Kumram Bheem Asifabad, Nirmal, Adilabad, Peddapalli, and Jagtial—gathered to offer special prayers, forming long queue lines. Luxettipet Forest Range Officer A Subhash, stated that a 20-kilometer track was developed to introduce a jungle safari service in the forests. He stated that one could see spotted deer, Indian gaur, and many other herbivores.

The tiger, known as S12, wandered into the district’s forests a few weeks ago. Initially, it remained in the Jannaram forest range within the core of Kawal Tiger Reserve (KTR) before moving into the Luxettipet range. On November 4, it preyed on cattle in the Muthyampalli section of Luxettipet. By November 8, it had moved further into the Andugulapet and Dharmaram beats.
