As per agenda the House was supposed to discuss the annual financial statement.

Congress representatives should visit the project and learn about the project and its operations and the party should acknowledge the success of the massive project aimed at giving water to parched lands in Telangana, said KT Rama Rao

The Chief Minister directed the irrigation officials to prepare a comprehensive report on all the meetings on River Krishna held since the formation of Telangana so far.

Barrages to be emptied fully

Irrigation Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy gave indications in this regard during a review meeting with L&T officials on Medigadda barrage here on Monday.

Addressing the Members of both the Houses in the Assembly here on Friday, the Governor said the government was actively preparing an action plan based on the promises made in the poll manifesto.

The Irrigation officials have already sounded out three such organisations for shouldering the task. They are engaged in preliminary-level talks with their Indian counterparts. The agency to be entrusted with the responsibility will be finalised soon, they said.
