Prasads Multiplex in Hyderabad has introduced PCX HDR by Barco, a premium auditorium featuring India’s largest HDR cinema screens and a Barco 4K Laser HDR projector. The refurbished 390-seat hall offers improved visuals, acoustics and seating for an enhanced movie experience.

The Hyderabad International Short Film Festival (HISFF) will be held at Prasads Multiplex from December 19 to 21, featuring 60 official short films, 11 North East Pavilion entries, and five classics.

Hyderabad’s Prasads Multiplex issued a humorous advisory to fans of Pawan Kalyan after witnessing wild celebrations during screenings of They Call Him OG. From cheers to torn T-shirts, the frenzy prompted the theatre to jokingly suggest carrying a spare shirt.

With a seating capacity of 224, this freshly added screen is designed to blend comfort, aesthetics, and technology seamlessly—raising the bar for theater experiences in the city.

Featuring over 120 films, panel discussions, and interactive sessions, the festival offers attendees valuable insights into the world of filmmaking, guided by producers, directors, screenwriters, composers, and actors. The star-studded lineup includes renowned industry professionals who will engage in thought-provoking discussions on filmmaking, storytelling, and the evolution of cinema.

The festival will feature screenings of timeless Telugu classics, including Pushpaka Vimana (1987), Aditya 369 (1991), Kshana Kshanam (1991), Manmadhudu (2002), Happy Days (2007), Nene Raju Nene Mantri (2017), and more. Audiences will get the rare opportunity to watch these cinematic gems on the big screen once again.
