Revanth Reddy had defended his "mortuary" remarks in the Assembly, saying they were aimed at the BRS, and not the former Chief Minister.

It may be recalled that the Chief Minister had said that Chandrashekhar Rao was on a stretcher and would soon end up in the mortuary. Raising objections against his comments, complaints were lodged by BRS leaders against the Chief Minister at different police stations in the State.

Speaking at a government function at Ravindra Bharathi, CM A Revanth Reddy made insensitive comments, saying: "They are talking about his stature, but truth is that we have put him on a stretcher and he will soon end up in the mortuary."
