Dulquer Salmaan launched the trailer of Gaayapadda Simham, a comedy drama about a young man’s disrupted American dream following deportation. The film blends satire, emotion and dark humour, and is set for theatrical release on May 1.

The sequel to cult hit Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi has begun shooting in Thailand. Directed by Tharun Bhascker, the film reunites Vishwak Sen, Abhinav Gomatam and Venkatesh Kakumanu, promising nostalgia, humour and a continuation of the original’s youthful charm.

Tarun Bhascker and Eesha Rebba will headline Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi, an emotionally resonant drama directed by A R Sajeev. Produced by S Originals and Movieverse Studios, the film is slated for a global theatrical release on August 1.

The buddy comedy, directed by Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam, remains a cherished favourite among many Telugu movie lovers.

The film’s trailer was released recently. Young director Tharun Bhascker features in the movie’s special song. Titled ‘Appadappada Thaandra.. Aavakaya Thaandra’, the song is written by Ganesh A and sung by Rahul Sipligunj. Its lyrical video was released on Wednesday.

“Understanding the pain of attachments, I began weaning the bonding through the profession of a teacher. In a profession I never wanted, I found a world of children. Children who bonded with me as much as they would with their mother,” says Geetha Bhascker Dhaassyam, mother of Telugu film director Tharun Bhascker.  

Zee Telugu Kutumbam Awards Part-2 will be telecasted on November 5 at 6 pm, only on Zee Telugu.
