A man from Gandhari in Kamareddy died of electrocution during a theft attempt in Mancherial. He was hiding on a rooftop when his neck got entangled in a live wire. Police are probing the incident, considering both theft and suicide angles.

The victim, identified as Syed, against whom a rowdy sheet was active in Allapur police station was the son of Wahed Pahelwan and a resident of Borabanda

As per available information, the incident occurred when the driver of car which was driven quite speedily applied sudden brakes. As a result, the cars behind it collided with each other.

Panagari Sudhakar Reddy of Sabhashpally in Medak attempted suicide fearing conviction in a two-year-old POCSO case. He consumed poison while recording a selfie video denying the charges. Friends located him and admitted him to hospital. His condition is critical.
