Allu Arjun was arrested on Friday morning, but his co-actors are backing him up by arguing that the tragedy should not fall entirely on his shoulders.

Justice Sridevi granted the interim bail to Allu Arjun and also granted interim bail to two others of the Sandhya theatre management. 

The Kuchipudi performances began with the Vinayaka Stuti, followed by the Sandhya Tandavam and Mandodari Sapatham, all of which were well-received. Srinika Reddy’s rendition of ‘Alamelu Manga Daruvu’ stood out, while Chittoju delighted the audience with Pravallika Parvathi's ‘Daruvu’. In response to the actor’s arrest, Revathi's husband, M Bhaskar, publicly stated that he was willing to withdraw the case. "I am ready to withdraw the case. My son wanted to watch the film, so we went there. Allu Arjun has nothing to do with the stampede that caused my wife’s death," he told the media.

In the event of one person losing life in the stampede at a theatre in the city, police was initiating action as per rules. Things were being handled as per law, CM Revanth Reddy stressed

Earlier that day, the Chikkadpally police arrested the actor at his Jubilee Hills residence and took him to the police station. After recording his statement, Arjun was transferred to Gandhi Hospital for a medical checkup before being escorted to court.
