A tragic accident in Vadodara claimed the life of Vipulsinh Zala, who slipped into a 15–30-foot open manhole near the Manjalpur Sports Complex while out for dinner with his family. His relatives discovered his boots floating inside the pit during a search after he failed to return. Fire department personnel pulled him out, but doctors declared him dead at the hospital.

An RTC bus carrying 60 passengers rammed into a stationary truck near Kandi in Sangareddy rural limits, leaving at least 20 injured. The Annual Report 2025 released by SP B Rohith Raju highlights a mixed crime trend in Kothagudem. While overall crime and POCSO cases rose, incidents of violence against women, cybercrimes, and ganja cases declined. The district recorded 6,180 cases this year, up from 5,636 last year.
