Guntur: The separate railway zone for Visakhapatnam-South Coast Railway–will be approved by the Centre shortly, according to BJP Rajya Sabha member GVL Narasimha Rao.

Talking to reporters here on Friday, he said that most of the assurances in the bifurcation Act were already implemented and the remaining would take shape soon.

Alleging that the YSR Congress Party government was using its stickers for the Central schemes, he said that the BJP would launch a struggle if the houses constructed by TIDCO were not handed over to the beneficiaries. He stated that the buildings constructed by the state government under Nadu-Nedu programme were all taken up with the employment guarantee scheme of the Centre.

Claiming that the development recorded in Andhra Pradesh so far was made possible only with Central assistance and partnership, the MP wanted the YSRCP government to make use of its loans to achieve some visible development.
