Speaking to mediapersons at Nizamabad on Monday, Kavitha said despite having "SHE Teams" initiated by the previous BRS government to prevent crimes against women, the Congress government failed to ensure its effective functioning. She demanded that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, who handles the Home department, conduct a special review meeting on women's safety and take urgent measures to control crime against women.

He further confirmed that party chief K Chandrashekhar Rao is in good health and will make a public appearance at the right time.

While discussing the Telangana Panchayat Raj (Amendment) Bill, 2024, Chary highlighted that the Congress had promised to raise BC reservation in local bodies from the current 22 percent to 42 percent upon coming to power. However, he pointed out that the party has yet to take any action towards fulfilling this promise. "During the assembly elections, Congress promised to increase BC reservation to 42 percent in local bodies," he said.

Responding to the statement, Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy accused the BRS government of providing electricity for only 11 to 14 hours a day.
