Prabhakar had won the 2014 election on a BRS ticket by defeating Congress candidate T Jagga Reddy. However, he lost the 2018 election by a slender margin to Jagga Reddy.
Talking to students during the district level Inspire Science Fair at Saint Anthony's School in Sangareddy on Wednesday, Prabhakar said parents and teachers must support students who had some special talent.
Addressing the beneficiaries after handling 425 double-bedroom houses in Sangareddy and Kandi Mandals, Prabhakar said CM KCR had come up with so many welfare programmes which went on to become an inspiration for the rest of the nation.
