Cyberabad Municipal Corporation recorded a significant rise in property tax collection under the Early Bird scheme, with a 16 percent increase over last year. Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation also reported higher collections, reflecting improved revenue performance.
Empanelled civil contractors have warned GHMC, CMC and MMC officials that they will stop ongoing works if their pending bills are not cleared by March 21. Contractors say they are facing financial strain due to unpaid dues and delays in processing bills.
