Addressing a press conference here on Friday, Maheshwar Reddy blamed the State government for the paddy getting wet in the rain and causing loss to the farmers.

The Congress was resorting to cheap politics for political mileage in the Lok sabha elections, he said.

"When the government led by YSR sold thousands of crores worth lands in and around Hyderabad, Congress leaders, including Bhatti Vikramarka, were mum," the Finance Minister said
