According to the police, Das Sagar, a native of Angul district in Odisha, migrated with his family to Kalvacherla seven months ago to work at the SBK bricks industry. While the parents were working at the brick kiln, their child accidentally fell into the canal and was swept away. Unable to find the child, the parents searched the canal, but their efforts were in vain.
