With the southwest monsoon again getting active over the State, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday has issued an Yellow alert for Hyderabad

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has taken down the heavy rainfall warning they had posted a few days back.

The operation was carried out with a C-130 and two An-32 aircraft. Another C-130 airlifted 62 passengers and 6.8 tonnes of cargo from Lilabari to Kolkata.

Representatives from the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), secretaries from Telecom, Power, Civil aviation and Earth Sciences ministries will attend the meeting

"Delhi rainfall in past 24 hours till 8:30 hours of today: Safdarjung Airport -119.3 mm, Palam - 63.8 mm, Lodhi Raod - 124.4 mm, Ayanagar - 97.9 mm, Najafgarh - 92.5 mm," the IMD said.

Cyclone is very likely to move northeastwards and weaken gradually during next 12 hours.
