IMD said the cyclone would intensify further gradually during the next 48 hours and move nearly north-northwestwards during the next 3 days.

There is also a possibility of thunderstorms with lightning at isolated places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Rayalaseema.

The downpour started in Rajendranagar and gradually covered Charminar, Saroornagar, LB Nagar, and eventually the entire Hyderabad.
