MMD is receiving an inflow of 7,222 cusecs, with 6,300 cusecs coming from the Yellapally project and 922 cusecs from the Manair river, Mulavagu, and other sources. The project currently holds 18.15 TMC of water, compared to its total storage capacity of 27.54 TMC.

The SRSP storage level reached 45 TMC out of its gross capacity of 80.50 TMC. Inflows to the project increased from 18,500 cusecs to 22,000 cusecs over the past two days. Meanwhile, the Nandi Medaram pump house continued operations for the eighth day, drawing about 13,000 cusecs from the Yellampalli project.

Despite continuous rainfall during the last few days, the water bodies have not received adequate inflows. Besides rivulets in their catchment areas, SRSP is the major water source for LMD and MMD.
