Warangal ACP Nandiram Naik reported that Rajamma was arrested following a complaint by Sumalatha, who accused her of snatching Rs. 10,000 and a cell phone. Police recovered Rs. 1,000 in cash and the chain used in the attack from Rajamma's possession, and she was sent to remand.
Woman leader identified as Alakuntla Rajamma, allegedly thrashed a outsourcing woman sanitation worker by tying her with chains in front of the public for not giving her monthly commission.
