Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said Kishan Reddy would be launching the 10th round of commercial coal mines auction in Hyderabad on June 21.

Informing that OCP-II has been linked to Adriyala project, he hoped that the face of ALP would be changed after one year since they have fixed a target to extract 10,000 tons of coal per day as against 5,000 to 6,000 tons. 7,000 tons production was enough to reach the breakeven point, he informed.

The 22 MW plant is being established at a cost of Rs 126 crore. Rs 5 crore are being spent to generate 1MW of solar power.

After the tenders called for the construction of quarters, in last January the SCCL management entered into an agreement with the contracting agency and works are expected to complete in December this year.

“I expected to qualify in the test but not get the first rank. Since I am already working with Singareni Collieries, I plan to pursue a BTech Mining engineering programme from a university college,” he told Telangana Today.
