Cyberabad police arrested four persons for allegedly posing as policemen and kidnapping businessmen to extort money. The gang used fake IDs and uniforms to deceive victims. Over Rs 6 lakh was extorted, and multiple fake documents and weapons were seized.

Prohibition and Excise Department officials seized defence liquor worth Rs 1 lakh from a former military employee in Secunderabad. The accused allegedly sourced liquor from Madhya Pradesh at low prices and sold it illegally in Sainikpuri. A total of 58 bottles were recovered.
