Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expressed condolence on the death of four labourers in a lift collapse at an under-construction 40-storey building at Thane in Maharashtra.

The deceased labourers have been identified as Mahendra Choupal (32), Rupesh Kumar Das (21), Harun Sheikh (47), Mithlesh (35), and Karidas (38). Another deceased is unidentified.

The accused runs coaching classes in neighbouring Mumbai, while the victim hails from Bengaluru and they got acquainted on social media.
