Hyderabad: You can’t own it, you can’t use it. You can’t keep it, you can’t spend it. Once you have lost it, you can never get it back. It’s is ‘time’. Thus, time should never be wasted. If we waste paper we can buy it, if we waste money we can earn it, but if we waste time we can never get it back.
If you have work to do and you don’t do it and waste time you will have to stress a lot at the time when you have to submit it; you will have to do a hurried job and it will not be your best. Sometimes you will be able to do it, but there are times when you won’t be able to do it. Wasting time is the same as wasting money. Many people are even known to take up time management classes because, they can’t manage time.
Imagine if we wouldn’t assign time for particular things, our lives would be chaotic. Take any sports person or your favourite teacher or parents, whom you admire, and recognise the amount of planning and focus they do to make the best of the 24 hours they have and take inspiration from them.
If you have more time in hand, try and learn a language or take up a new hobby. Make a conscious effort to not waste your time on senseless things like gadgets. We have to acknowledge the fact that we can’t buy time and need to realise this at some point of our life.
I hope after reading this you will appreciate the importance of using time productively. Promise yourself that, as long as you are alive, no time should be wasted. Time is free, but it’s priceless!
