Adilabad district Conservator of Forest CP Vinod Kumar said that they were going to use 10 enclosures to catch the big cat, besides installing CCTV cameras to track its movement in the forests of Digida and surrounding villages.

Terming the incident as unfortunate, Forest Minister A Indrakaran Reddy conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the family members.

The forest officials reached the spot and are making efforts to shift the animal to the Nehru Zoological Park where it will be kept for some time before a decision is taken on releasing it in the wild.
